Onboarding with purpose
Show value before asking for notifications or tracking. Use progressive disclosure: three screens max before the user completes one meaningful action inside the app.
Empty states and recovery
Explain why a list is empty and offer a next step. For errors, suggest retry or support contact. Never leave users on a blank screen after a failed API call.
Reviews at the right moment
Prompt for ratings after a success event—order placed, task completed—not on first launch. In-app feedback forms catch issues before they become public one-star reviews.
